NatureWise was created from a passion for supporting young people through meaningful experiences in nature and the wider community. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed in an environment where they feel safe, valued and understood.
Through personalised outreach, outdoor education and educational support, we help young people develop confidence, resilience and the skills they need to thrive.

Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life. We strive to create a supportive learning community that fosters growth, creativity, and innovation. At NatureWise, we are committed to helping our students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

We believe that developing socially and learning should be engaging, meaningful and enjoyable. Our sessions are delivered both in nature and within the local community, helping young people build confidence, develop positive relationships and learn through real-life experiences.
Every session is tailored to the individual, taking into account their interests, strengths, preferences and personal goals to create meaningful and motivating opportunities for growth.

We provide specialist outreach support for children and young adults aged 8–25 who may be experiencing difficulties engaging with education, employment, family life or social situations.
Some of the young people we work with may have been unable to attend school, access community activities or engage in social opportunities for an extended period of time. Through a nurturing, person-centred approach, we create opportunities for individuals to rebuild confidence adevelop meaningful relationships.

We provide personalised support that enables young people to develop confidence, independence and essential social and life skills. Through engaging activities such as pottery painting, glass fusion, archery, fishing, foot golf, high ropes, board games, community-based experiences and students have opportunities to build resilience, communication and teamwork skills in a supportive environment.
Alongside these activities, our life skills programme focuses on preparing young people for the future

NatureWise was founded on a strong belief in the positive impact that nature can have on both mental wellbeing and personal development. We use the natural environment as a powerful learning resource, providing opportunities for young people to build confidence, resilience and practical skills through hands-on experiences.
Activities may include expedition and navigation skills, outdoor cooking, whittling, shelter building, bushcraft and campfire sessions.

Drawing on extensive experience in school residential and outreach settings, our staff are skilled in providing support wherever it is needed most. Whether supporting transitions, working within educational settings, providing support at home, or helping young people access their local community, we offer consistent, trusted guidance that helps individuals feel safe, supported and confident as they develop their independence.

We offer bespoke tuition packages tailored to each young person's individual needs, interests and educational goals. Working with experienced subject specialists, we provide support across core subjects as well as creative areas such as art and music.
Our flexible approach ensures that learning is introduced at the right time and in the right way, helping students build confidence, maintain progress and achieve their full potential.

At NatureWise, we work at each young person's pace, providing support in a calm, pressure-free and nurturing environment. Building trusting relationships is at the heart of everything we do, helping young people feel safe, secure and ready to engage when they are comfortable to do so.
Whether around a campfire, whittling, exploring the local community or walking in nature, meaningful conversations often develop naturally.
Positive mindsets:
At NatureWise, we believe that positive experiences create positive feelings, which in turn lead to positive outcomes. We focus on recognising strengths, celebrating successes and helping young people build confidence through meaningful achievements.
Wherever possible, we encourage young people to reframe challenges, overcome barriers and turn setbacks into opportunities for growth.
A Supportive Environment:
We believe that young people achieve their best when they feel safe, supported and free from unnecessary pressure. By building trusting relationships and working at each individual's pace, we create an environment where confidence and positive progress can flourish.
Personalised Support:
Every session is tailored to the individual, delivered at a pace that feels right for them. Whether they feel most comfortable talking around a campfire, during a walk, on a car journey, while playing board games or through educational activities, our approach is shaped around their interests, preferences and needs.

At NatureWise, we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people and vulnerable adults who take part in our sessions. We take our responsibility to protect everyone in our care very seriously.
